Stories From The Head

Kuse’s Dream

Kuse was old. Much too old. He knew this well, but he had a dream that he had to fulfil. Many people had the same dream as Kuse, but it was of no use. Several years before, a young professor called professor Smelt had introduced a groundbreaking theory on the subject of Kuse's dream. This theory was commonly known as (The Omsbu-thesis), and it centred on things that were important to anyone who shared Kuse’s dream. (The Omsbu-thesis) was introduced to Kuse in the duration of a congress, which in fact got quite a fascinating twist when one of the participants showed up naked at a union rally (organised by the congress committee). The congress had concentrated on environmental issues, but in the light of recent events (the naked wrestler, the (The Omsbu-Thesis)-introduction) it got out of hand., and the debate got carried away trying to find out about Kuse’s dream. Kuse, however, wouldn’t say a word, and, sitting there silently, his dream was fulfilled. He died old, but happy, and before anyone could scream ”HOT”, they all realised that Kuse’s dream would never be made known...
