Stories From The Head

Yasmic

"What's a boy like me doing in a place like this?", Higer thought looking at his watch. "Hmmmm....The watch isn't running", he said out loud, much to the surprise of the silent parade that was running along the shore of the lake in which Higer was bathing. A small fish came swimming along, glanced at the watch and said "Nosireee, them watch ain't waterproof my boy" (the fish was originally from the land of Tyskot, but had spent a great deal of time in Texas, a small province of Pattat). Needless to say, this bothered Higer a great deal. The parade (which he had spooked) made no noise, the fish spoke with a southern accent, and the watch HATED bathing. Suddenly Higer’s lover Yasmic (the female part of Yasmik) shimmered into view. "I have a dream", she said, then vanished into thin air. "By God, so do I, sir", the fish shouted, swimming back to the river. "Tuuut...TUUUT...Tut" the trumpets of the parade sounded. Then silence...Then no more...
