A Pet’s Dream

Kokas never knew what hit him. Probably because nothing ever did hit him. Not even his own pet would dream of hitting Kokas, although, as we all know, pets are unable to dream because of the Pleta-clause. What really angered Kokas was the fact that he knew his pet, whose name will remain undisclosed until the next sentence, was aware of the fact that Kokas was the author of the Pleta-clause. The pet’s name was Lekkopat. Lekkopat’s only worry was that the Pleta-clause would be deemed irrelevant to matters concerning pet dreaming, and Kokas would be dishonoured as a clause-author. Whichever way the Tappo-board would rule in the case, Lekkopat knew that Kokas would never let him have any dreams of his own, and that, my friend, was out of the question. Kokas was buried the next day...
